Frangipanis or kemboja in Indonesia, are beautiful flowers that are common around Bali. Apparently, they’re native to South America but has since been spread around the world, mainly in the tropics. The flowers are especially used by the Hindus of Bali as temple offerings and you’ll see these trees often planted near graveyards. There’s a stark beauty to them; atop scrawny, rough branches sit lovely, colorful blooms.
